Future Hub is proud to present the sustainability and innovation pop-up conference Future Forum! Taking place on May 11 (online and free of charge !), the event brings together a community of changemakers to share the latest developments, ideas, and strategies in sustainability and open innovation. The event gathers international and local experts with a proven track record to discuss how sustainability can and will affect business and to explore how to embrace the green change to succeed.

What will we discuss?


Future Forum agenda will focus on three main topics. First, Plan A CEO and Cofounder Lubomila Jardonava will share her take on the 🌎 rising importance of sustainability in business. Meanwhile, global sustainability trends in 2021 will be discussed between Adriana Kaulina, Sustainability Officer at Swedbank Latvia; Inese Andersone, Chair of the City Development Committee at Riga City Council; Cecile Bussy, Journalist at Sifted; and Martins Zemitis, Economic Advisor at European Commission. Their experience with 🌱 building sustainable brands will share Lineta Miksa, Chief Communication Officer at Orkla Latvija; Michael Haase, CEO at Plant Jammer; Liudvikas Aleliunas, Corporate Responsibility Manager at Rimi Baltic Group; Mikelis Bastiks, Partner and Designer at Asketic; and Paula Pärnaste, Brand and Marketing Manager at Woola.

Finally, Fredrik Nilzen, Head of Group Sustainability at Swedbank, will share his experience with the sustainability role for financial institutions in particular. ⚙️ The role of innovation in the road towards sustainable business practices and opportunities innovation can offer will be discussed by Jeremy Kagan, Professor at Columbia, Cornell, NYU and Strategy Consultant; Liva Perkone, Co-founder and Managing Partner at Helve; Dr. Johanna Braun, Innovation, Venture and Sustainability Consultant; and Kaspars Cikmacs, Member of Management Board at Latvenergo.
